Description: Repaint for a Sweedish Focke-Wulf Fw-44J for FS2004/FSX Focke Wulf Fw44 by A.F. Scrub.

File name: fockewulf44.zip

On 7 February 1936 Sweden placed order of two Fw 44J which were delivered and evaluated in April by Flygvapnet. This rating lead to the ordering of 14 additional aircrafts., delivered between January and July 1937 to the flying school F5. Meanwhile, on 29 September 1936, Focke-Wulf and Sweden had concluded a licensing agreement. ASJA (Saab) produced 20 additional machines in its factory of Linköping, and the Central Workshops of Vaesteras (CVV) another 37 additional aircrafts between 1939 and 1943. 12 more aircrafts were also bought from Czechoslovakia in 1940, totalling 85 Sk 12 (Fw 44J) which were used by the Swedish military aviation.

These biplanes were to remain in service until 1967. About thirty these apparatuses were lost in service, but the majority of Stieglitz still in-flight status or viewable in the Museums in Europe today carried the Swedish colours.

Sorry, I had to mention it's on Flightsim...Oups:redf:

It's a FS 2004 model, which you will have to convert.

I changed the airfile to DH.82a, as the original causes me CTD.

If you feel like making a new airfile, and eventually a DP file, you're welcome.

Thank you! I'll see if my old signup pword is still valid over there. Thank you for the gorgeous repaints, too!

Cheers!

Thanks for the compliments, they're my best reward.:cool:
But my repaints are just very basic ones, using simple tools as Paint and e-paint.
I'll always be very far from real pros like Morton and others, and I don't intend to reach their level ( too much work for a lazy guy like me...). In some cases, I just adapted existing textures, and most of the job was done by the original painters.

By the way, do you know if anybody made good DP and Air files for MVG's M.C. 202 and 205?

Francois

Francois

Hi Francois,

on MVG's aircrafts converted to CFS2 I normally use IS4G's old, but accurate, flight models. For the C.202 you could use the files adapted to Corrado La Posta's FS9 upgrade of his Folgore, available here. In any case, flight models and dps for Regia Aeronautica aircrafts always derive from the old IS4G's DAF models for CFS2, which, in turn, started out as CFS1 models.
I don't know how many conversions you did in the past, but let me suggest you to try keeping the original contact points by copying them over to the CFS2 aircraft.cfg of your choice. Otherwise you'll see funny things happening on the runway...

I knew I had to renew my old Flightsim membership, but I got AF Scrub's Stiegliz just fine! :d

Cheers!
