New to CFS1

I just found a copy of CFS1 recently and I've been flying with it for a few days. It's better than I thought it would be. My question is: Are there any standard add-ons regarding scenery, utilities, etc that I should know about?

I've flown CFS2 but never thought about this one before now. The file system seems to look the same to me though.

CFOWeather, TG2 and a couple others comes to mind. Have a look at No Dice site: http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/

Pretty much the same. What CFS2 gained in visual goodies, it lost on multiplayer playability.

Cool Things in Combat Flight Simulator.

One very typical update is to change the "Class" of the Water in the game to make it possible to land aircraft there. Otherwise, seaplanes will explode when they touch down on Water.

Other things very worthy of note were created by Hubbabubba who replied in the last post:
The various versions of Hubbabubba's Jeeps are worth examining.
Hubbabubba's Refueling areas for the various stock bases are definitely worthwhile.

As Hubbabubba pointed out, No Dice has collected quite a lot of very good stuff at his site:

I have all three versions of Combat Flight Simulator but spend the most time with the original.

Enjoy!
