New to the show 'Two and a Half Men'

Lionheart

SOH-CM-2014
Hey guys,

I have just started watching a show called 'Two and a Half Men'.

I havent laughed this hard in ages...

I cant believe I havent watched it before..

If you get a chance, you might want to check it out.

Bill

I've watched it for a long time....and the reruns too. The Warden and I now call it "Two and a Half Morons". Funny as all h3ll but it makes you wonder how this stuff gets past the censors. 10 years ago it wouldn't have survived being on the air, or made it the first night it was on.

The wife and I have also been watching this for years. We even watch the reruns that come on after evening news here, just before prime time. I recall reading somewhere that the inspiration for the show came from the Gramatica brothers (the placekicker brothers). That must've been some household... :faint:

i suppose john cryer is pretty happy to be working in something people actually like. on the other hand, i think charlie sheen is a great comedic actor. highly under rated

I totally agree. Charlie is hilarious. A great commedian. Not everyone can hold such a straight face.

He also seems like a cool guy.

I watched the latest new episode last night and noted the boy has trimmed up some. I was glad to see that. They always show the poor kid eating!!!! I was thinking they were going to ruin his life and he would grow up weighing 300 pounds..

Supposedly in reality, Charlie doesnt drink anymore. He was saying in an interview, that when he knew he was an alcoholic, he would pour some margarita's, and suddenly it was Christmas. Get away from them, and time was fine. Pour some Margaritas again, and Bam! Its Christmas again. The time, when drinking, just flew past..

This show was made for Charlie Sheen. It's exactly the image he portrays in real life. The kid is funnier than the other two combined.

This show reminds me of the chemistry that the brothers had in Frasier. They'd give each other a look and you just knew what they both were thinking. That's a gift!

We watch it too, but have really gotten hooked on "big bang theory" the show has to grow on you but once it does it is pretty good.

Unfortunately watched it once, promptly threw up.
Doesn't rank up there with 'Scrubs' or 'Frasier' (for example), but then we prefer more 'cynical' humour.
'Night Court' and '30 Rock' get 5 stars under our personal ratings count.

Great show, My wife actually got me into watching it !!

Charlie is very fun !!

Good Stuff, one of the few I watch !!

:friday:

I miss a lot of the classics, they really don't make them like they used to. Night Court was always a weekly favorite, gotta love Dan Fielding!! As for the newer stuff and in the sitcom department, I have grown attached to The Big Bang Theory and Two And a Half Men on Mondays and The Office and Earl on Thursdays.. Never did get into 30 Rock and lets not talk about that other thing that they call a show that comes between Office and Earl, OMG!
