• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I don't simflight much anymore. Although I wish I could.

But this is so close to me, that it bring me out of "SIMbernation" and join.

Confession: might be a few around here who might remember the origins of "Misty", but I am the guy behind the story. For me, it was the "golden ages" of FSX (even if I started with MSFS back in my university dorm in 1989).

This post lead me to going back to the RTMM web site and finding the spot they left for my "Misty Tales". Shaking my head that it started in 2005...

Life flew by me. My little girls back then are now 17 y.o. and 14 y.o. My oldest daughter earned her Glider pilot license last summer, and will embark for her PPL in June (thank you Royal Canadian Air Force Air Cadets).

A refresh of my FSX install is likely required, but I feel that David "Buck" Wilson just might resurrect. I wonder if "Misty" will spare a dance with him?
