NGD stands for NEW GUITAR DAY
while talking with a neighbor last week, he told me he was selling one of his guitars. "oh yeah?" i said, "what is it?" (i figured it was some high dollar les paul or american strat)
"it's a roxbury" he tells me. "ever heard of them?" he asks. i went into his apt and had a look at it and was really surprised i could buy something this nice for such a small amount of cash. of course i could not turn it down. the neck is way fatter than the strat i've been playing, and it really suits my hands better. the headstock says "Legend custom collection". finish is called "violin burst"
mahogany body, bookmatched flamed maple top, binding on the body, neck, and headstock, grover tuners, wilkinson bridge, (first thing i did was pull the whammy out and set it aside) man, i sure got lucky this time! he even agreed to teach me some stuff! (this guy is a formerly famous blues player) anyhow, like they say, this thread is useless without pics, right? i'm a worse photographer than a guitarist, so this is the best i could do:
