Now I adore the c language but there are some coding errors that are very hard to spot. The newbie c coder is well advised to address this issue at the earliest possible moment. Ah, new IDE's, fancy debuggers - I don't have to worry here says you. Not so grasshopper - the main defence is often just plain old awareness.
First a video because it's a fun one. The host gives you 10 seconds to spot the bug but I recommend you pause the video and give the sample a hard look. Have your remote ready because he shows the first plagued code very early.
I also found the following article which I think is very good. It is more detailed, more technical but still perhaps suitable for the beginner ...

If any of you have your own examples please do post them. Also, don't be bothered that experienced c coders can find these bugs so fast. It's probably because, early on they made them themselves. It's that old joke about picking up a hot horseshoe - you only do it once. Or said another, and more elegant way ...
