NL2000 question

Roger

Senior Administrator
Is it possible to use Aerosoft's Lelystad X with NL2000? I have moved it above all the NL2000 files in priority but none of the buildings show.

With NL2000 there is a menu to activate airports. De-activate the NL2000 version of Lelystad and install Aerosoft Lelystad, that should work.

Just re-read the manual and as I havent as yet installed any of the NL2000 airports, it should show.

Just reloaded FsX and have the same problem. The Lelystad ground polygon shows but no buildings.

Roger, I am very interested if you get this sorted out. In my upcoming Marianas 1945 scenery there are some small similar issues with things showing up I don't want. The level of priority in the scenery files (above the offending scenery) doesn't always work. :isadizzy: I know each problem has it's own set of circumstances but any solution for your problem may give me some ideas.

It can be done, but sometimes FsX is just a mystery..

I installed NL2000 v4.03 first last time I installed FsX, deactivated EHLE and installed the aerosoft version.

Looks better than the NL2000 version IMHO, and it blends in seamlessly. I really can't tell where the Aerosoft scenery ends and NL2000 begins.

I continued to pursue the issues in the scenery library without success so eventually I looked at my FsX.cfg. I don't know how but all my terrain settings had been reduced to minimum. Now that I've reset them to my usual values all is back to normal again.
