On that distant day when on patch 7 or P4 we have Snipes and Dolphins, and Airco DH5s, and anything French with 2 seats.
Love to see it, but the Snipe is something far from my list of things-I-want-to-see-in-OFF-that-would-explain-my-complete-disappearance-from-the -21st-century-except-work-the pub-and-the-taxman-damn-him.

The Se5a has speed you know. And I can make it turn pretty fast too.
Currently I'm flying Pups in August 1917 however, so the latest generation of Albatros can outrun me and there's a Fokker Triplane somewhere, I've heard. Mind you, I saw some Camels out when I was on an escort, but I haven't one currently.

Widowmaker + Snipe =Death!
(that's the real reason we don't have a Snipe!....It would put you German's at a distinct Disadvantage!! :wave:

Hi Conrad, nice to see you back.
As far as the Snipe.. we have 2 modelers, Paarma and I might try it... but I doubt either one of us will get better than modeling a rock in time to make any significant progress for the next patch.
So with that in mind, if we do move on to Phase 4, we have to seriously consider which planes to add in. The Snipe is very important to the Brits, as the Pfalz D.XII is to the Germans, as is the 2-seaters.. etc... Gothas.. etc.. Big Ack... etc...
See my point? We'll do our best to choose the crates that effect the game-play immersion the most.

If I can further extol the virtues in the hope you 'may' decide to go ahead at some point..the Snipe had extremely good views for the Pilot (thus helping the flyers of OFF who have yet to purchase TrackIR?)

Olham: Yes, I have flown her several times. A very good aircraft! I could outturn the Albatros, climb better, and dive and forward speed were also better, I'd say. If she had two machine guns firing through the prop, like the Camel, I'd say, she'd be equal to her. And imagening to be a fighter pilot in real life, I might have preferred her to the Camel even as she is.
I know, I'm stepping on your toes sometimes, being "der Bordeauxred Baron", boasting about the German planes, but that's for the fun on this forum, and I know, you British have the humour to deal with it. Regarded plain sober, I'd say, the major advantage of the German WW1 planes was their centered, effective and dangerous two weapons.
