No Banana Bob here, but

you can call me Cherry Caz. :icon_lol:

I just did my first propwash. Of course I used Banana Bob's washes to examine and go by.

I wanted a wash for Sky Unlimited's free Bf-109F, an excellent example with exception that I did not like the clear and spotty propwash.

I search Bob's props and found one for SU's Bf-109K. I tried it, but it was too thick looking and black. Did you do a prop for th Bf-109F Bob? I looked ay SA and couldn't find one. So pshaw, I cut a prop and made my own.

Better than what I had (first image), but still I got a little way to go. It's just nice when old men learn lew tricks! :jump:

I have that one. Brilliant work. How are your landings? Have you mastered them yet Cazz?

Once you get down the formula for airspeed, its 3 pointers each time.

Looks great Cazz,:applause: don't be stealin' my only job now! :costumes: :ernae:

No worries Bob, if I find a replacement or you do one, I'll be a'usin' it. :ernae:

For the record, after I had given my prop a radial blur, I did a Gaussian blur and adjusted it to my liking. I then made a 512 X 512 white new image and copied and pasted the radial blue (on a transparent backing) to the new image and centered it. I next flattened the image and did and Invert, then adjusted the lighting in my Alpha a little less white and saved all in an 888-8.

Bill, these are perhaps the best two landings I ever had in a one-oh-nine! LOL!

But have you ever seen the archive footage and the modern-day replica pilots. They bounce those suckers every time! :icon_lol:

This is the Aeroplane Heaven Bf-109E, that I toned down the Alpha on and used my propwash and the Sky Unlimited Bf-109F, also with my propwash. the sheer power of the F makes it a better plane to fly. The sound is incredible too; if I ever want the boys to shut my door, turn up the 5.1 Surround Sound! :costumes:

I find Bill that a 109 needs a hot approach and the sum-bee-atch becomes unhandlable with the gear down. I lower them at the last moment and give it a nudge of flap. It is so nose heavy, you have to make a power landing to keep the nose up. I flair under power, and hit the flaps once once and decrease power. It is hard for me to center from the VC, that's how these landings were made. I used FRAPS in capturing a replay of a recording through the FS Recorder Module.
