no bridges in fs9?

hi guys, recently reinstalled fs9 and then after a flight or two, the 9.1 update. I've noticed no bridges are displayed.
is that a normal feature in fs9? is there a scenary add-on which would improve that?
also I installed "ultimate terrain europe" but I still find the landascape a little bit poor.
no other way to make it richer?
I had a rig done for fsx and it's now a bit redundant for fs9, but after the nightmare I had with fsx I could enjoy also the relative simplicity of the latter! thks everybody, gianluca

The 9.1 update should have put the bridges into the game.

Where is your Autogen slider maybe it is too far to the Left.

There are some terrain water add-ons that remove bridges because they "overlay" default scenery.

Check out avsim and flightsim com for freeware landclasses and add-ons - there are pretty good landclasses for Italy, France, Greece, Scandinavia, UK and Germany. Also lots of good add-on airports, textures etc.

- check out this site for a global terrain mesh coverage divided into sections.

Try deactivating Ultimate Terrain, or at least run the setup program again. I think that because it is closer to real life positioning than is the default scnery, one of its features is that unless you specify that they should stay it will automatically remove bridges, which otherwise appear in the wrong places. Take a look at London with the FS9 bridges left visible and you'll see that they are now on dry land.

and don't forget to install QRP4UT...if you have UT installed....

it'll fix/add landmarks, and fix some bridge positions

Thank you Feng. I found it and installed it, and it certainly improves things. Previously the choice seemed to be between default with bridges, UT with only bare crossing places and fewer buildings, and UT with bridges and buildings but in the wrong places. As the developer readily admits, QLRP4UT isn't perfect, but it's a great improvement. London without Tower Bridge just isn't the same.
