No damage showing on aircraft

Hey guys,this sim rocks but I have one small problem.No matter how many bullets I hit other aircraft with or that I get hit with,I never see any kind of damage to either aircraft.:help:I was wondering if its a setting or something that i'm doing wrong.Other than that the sim runs flawlessly.Any help would be appreciated.thanks

Hello

Check in workshops - Details - Aircraft skins - if you have selected Hi Res there will be no visible damage - its in FAQ too.

We have not found a way around this but select normal res (this res is same as per P2) and all should be well

Hey Winder,thanks for the fast responce.i have my res set to normal and still nothing.I have had wings torn off and structural damage like parts missing from aircraft but no bullet holes or torn fabric.Its got me stumped:confused::confused::confused:

Hey winder,just did some tests and was going after Re8s and Be2s.In low res i can see bullet holes and damage but in normal res still nothing.My graphics card is a nvidia Geforce 7600 GS.Hope this helps.
 
Hmm could be video memory - how much does that card have?
Do you have AA filtering enabled?
Any tweaks you did manually in cfs3config?

Try knocking the terrain and scenery sliders back one and try again?

O.K quite a low end card - best to leave it on low if you want to see the damage - or higher if not - it sounds like insufficient GPU mem - we will put it on our list to look into.
