    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

No pilot voices in fresh install

Hey ya'll! I just installed cfs3 into a Vista 32 bit box. All the sounds run except pilot voices. I looked at the .gvp files and it seems it doesnt know what program to run 'em with (i.e. it uses media player for the wav files) Any suggestion/advice would be 'preciated.

Voices should be working, the text displays when my pilot, ai's speak, but no joy. It seems my pilot has gone stone deaf! Everything else works fine...in fact I swear there's a lot less stutter in Vista.
 
A while ago I had a similar problem that ocurred only with pilots from certain nationalities (nz and aus IIRC). It was a NEK issue, probably.
