Hi all,

I bought the F-102 Delta Dagger from Razbam, payment was accepted, but after that nothing happened and I also get no reaction on my emails.

Does anyone know if the site is down? Or that something happened to the site?

If anyone knows how to get in touch with them, please let me know.

Regards,

hertzie.

Did you buy it direct from Razbam (didnt know they were still going) or from one of the payware vendors?, simarket, pc-aviator, ect

They are pretty much a DCS dev now a days. You may want to try their other social sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Hi Ian,

Yes, I bought it directly from their site, for they "bargained" it, it was only $ 10,--. So it's not the loss of money, but the loss of a great model :) .

And Capun, I'm such an old-timer that I don't have Twitter, Facebook, WhattsApp etc. and never will.

Thanks for your replies,

hertzie.

Looking at their YouTube channel they haven't posted any New content for about a Year. On the various DCS Forums Users of their Products have been voicing complaints that, like you, have gone unanswered. There are also issues from 3rd party Developers who haven't been Paid for their Work on Razbam Modules.

Short of trying to contact the higher ups in the Company via their LinkedIn email, you may just have to bite the bullet and write that expenditure off.

There was a time not too long ago where Sim Vendors wrote off FS9 and were liquidating their Inventories at bargain prices. With continued interest in FS9, they've changed tact and are back to selling FS9 Products at full pop.

OK ViperPilot2, thanks for your info! Much appreciated! And yes, I' ve already written off the $10 and slept well last night (lol).

I know I may not ask this, but if anyone has this Dagger (the only one with a good VC, I think)....... For me it are memories from the past, when I was lying near the runway of Soesterberg airbase, where the 32nd FIS flew them and was chased by the MP' s, ofcourse not allowed to come that close :).

Go to PC Aviator. It has all RAZBAM titles for $15 and is reliable. you get the download links as so as the payment clears

My bad, all the clearance stuff there is for FSX, except for the Skyraiders

Hertzie, keep in mind that this is the FS2004/2002 forum and that plane is for FSX.

Sometimes you can get lucky, but if the plane was coded for DDS textures ONLY, the best it would have done is crash FS2004. :173go1:

You still have another option :wiggle:. The Virtavia F-106 works just fine in FS2004 and also has a lot of bells and whistles including a really nice VC and sound set plus single seat and dual seat models. You can buy it at PC Aviator but always check Virtavia's freeware page
( https://www.virtavia.com/Freeware/ )
in case they have a free download. Make SURE you get the FS2004 version and NOT the FS2002 (Alphasim) freebie. The Alphasim 106 is really, really old but it might be useful as AI. :indecisiveness:

Flying the Dart (just like the 102 Deuce) can be tricky. These planes are NOT dog fighters, more like point-and-shoot Interceptors that flew high and in a straight line.

Hi Bernard,

YES ! The red, white & blue tails, our national colors and (but I can't see that clear) the Wolfhounds insignia.

Sbob: sorry, I have no memories of the Dart and didn' t know the Dagger was for FSX, as it is an old model I thought it was for FS9..

Indeed. That should be answered by the author, Michael Pearson. Base model was done by Kazunori Ito.

This thread confuses me a bit....

@hertzie : Erik did you try to purchase a FS2004 version of the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger, or are talking about the FSX version of the Razbam Delta Dagger? As I am not aware of an FS2004 version.

@leuen : Very nice shot Bernard! And your FS9 install doesn't stop to amaze me! But the aircraft are parked at the wrong side of the airfield. The large hangars were at the Dutch side, known as Soesterberg AB. While the USAF used the south side of the airfield know as Camp New Amsterdam (which is the reason for the CR at the tails of the Phantoms and Eagles).

@MrZippy : Although Rob Richardson's model is very nice, its a Convair F-106 Delta Dart and not a Convair F-102 Delta Dagger. Although they could be twin brothers, there are some differences. The main visual differences are the fuselage shape (due to the different engine) and tail. And thanks for the link, as I didn't have the Delta Dart in my archives!

To add to the confusion two screenshots from the Razbam FSX Delta Dagger from 32 FIS above Soesterberg AB.

Hub, thanks for your rectification. These are welcome informations, almost impossible to get somewhere else. At least "my" Hunters are placed correctly!

For Huub: didn't know the Razbam Dagger was for FSX, as it is an old model I thought it was for FS9.....

For Mr. Zippy: as in real the F-106 was a complete different aircraft, it is that also in flightsims.....

To all SoH members: please see this subject as closed.

Regards to all,

hertzie.

FYI, I was at the RazBam discord server, If anyone is interested I can post their announcement on 4/4/24. Basically there is a conflict between RazBam and Eagle Dynamics (DCS). All DCS development/support has stopped and probably causing the company to pretty much be on stand-by mode.
