• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

nevada county air park is having thier airfest on july 11th again this year...they have it every two years..they trade off with auburn,the nevada county show is,,in my opinion better than auburn as nevada county has a longer runway and they can get jets in ...and they seem to draw more WWII fighters and warbirds in general..where auburn seems to pull in planes from the "between wars" era and the "classics"..howards,wacos,sterrmans,travel airs.ect...

back to NC,they pulled in over 20 AT6/SNJ/Harvards last year..B18D,seafury #105,several jets including a twin cessna pass.OV-10 bronco..there are no aerobatics..but they do "fly overs" low passes at high speed..awesome..id rather see those full throttle wide open low pass then a buncha loops n rolls...
