Out enjoying a joy ride in the UKMIL MR2 Nimrod from Alert to CFB Northstar and this happens i get lite up.
 
Cool...I haven't encountered the Northern Lights just yet...but I hope to soon...I have been doing a lot more flying in Alaska and Canada...:jump:

When this first happened to me in flight-sim, I was flying for Cyber Air back in '04. Once a year they do a Christmas run of toys from KSFO to PANC.

Being new to fs9 at the time and flying at night, I was pleasently surprised when the "lights" showed up. The detail was fantastic and very significant in that I really fell in love with fs9, as I felt it was the best sim I had ever been a part of. I still do....:USA-flag: oh no, there it is again. Guys do we not have a good Union Jack about here some place, so that I can wave the flag every time I make a really good comment?...hehehe!
