• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Ickie, just in case you don't know yet: The C-47 has been posted in the Flightsim.com download section but the file is not on their server, instead everyone who wants to download from Flightsim.com gets the SOH Warbirds Library file link... Obviously the SOH server got hammered.

Unfortunately those aren't true FlightSim downloads. The download states on the front page it is a "Remote" download. Guess what that remote site is. SOH!

Something doesn't smell quite right about that. Just sayin'.

It does say in the remote when you hover on it that it points here to SOH, and they do say in their write up that it is here. They also state they would be proud to host it if they had permission to do so. This would be up to Jan and crew, of course.

Just a note of appreciation for Ickie's heads up and work to protect SOH members. Thanks Ickie for putting SOH members first. You do a great job. :adoration:
 
I was lucky enough to download both the first night they were released. The past couple of days when I got the slammed servers message, I certainly knew why. ;) Nice work Ickie, it's amazing how a couple of great releases at the same time increase your workload.
