Okay -- your house is probably different --
but we have NO clear horizontal surfaces in this house.

It would take a lot of time to move all the "stuff" somewhere else to just get to the table top around here!
 
Something tells me this little gem is NOT inexpensive....

Update: I did some checking. Projected price will be about $15,000.00. Yikes! That amount of cash would buy a lot of conventional electronics!

Alas, destined for only the most well heeled gadget freaks whom have the desire to replace their bog standard coffee tables.
 
I can see this taking off when its really inexpensive.

Is it Windows based or Mac based?


I have noticed that Mac is getting into TV now (Apple TV) and all their computers now come with a Media Center style system called Front Seat (movie theatre, front row seat), which does things similar to MC, but more refined, (such as moving, zooming photo viewing), etc. They now also have remote control of all house Media on computers so you can be in the living room and turn on your iPod Touch or iPhone and turn on the stereo on your system in your bedroom upstairs, lol... (Thats present technology).
