• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I was poking around in different folders just to see what I could see. I found this:

...Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\fs-base\missions\FavoritePOI.txt

The file referenced doesn't exist, but it does provide a possible glimpse into "what might have been!"

I can only hope! This is probably the only biz-jet that I'd really want to fly. They're built about five miles from where I live.

In addition to the pay-for DLC helicopters and gliders that Asobo has planned, they have also said that they will be making more jets too, which would also be pay-for DLC.

If I'm going to pay for more planes, there better not be any shared textures left to right. Pisses me off I can't do certain repaints on the current planes.

Wasn't Honda reputed to be extremely unwilling to grant licences to model the Honda Jet?

I never really kept up with development details like that. It would be a shame if they didn't want to cooperate though. It's a great way to get their name out more.

Honda are extremely protective of the brand and the bizjet product. Of course if they partner with MSFS then there would be no problem for Asobo to make it. Partnership with MS is a double-edged sword for 3rd party devs. We could see denial of license to develop other makes of aircraft if the manufacturers do a partnership deal with MS. Time will tell.
