Now you´ve got it...a sacrilege!!!

Sorry Fiat...this goes without words, they didn´t change anything, only the badges and the grill...

The most perfect example of unfitting badge-engineering I´ve ever seen:toilet:

The Chrysler wing looks like crap on that rearside...

oooohhhh...I´ll stop before I burst:sheep:

Do you really want to still drive around in something that looks like the Starship Enterprise, Alex ??

Well it is the best looking Chrysler I've seen in a long time...
Well maybe it is better for chrysler than it is bad for Lancia!:icon_lol:

Well the true problem - behind the scenes is - Fiat is planning to completely run out the Lancia brand (only keeping it in Italy and one or two single countries) and only sell Chryslers to the world ... That´s what actually really upsets me.

This one is just a dummy (a very sweet Delta Executive indeed) in order to test the audiences´ reaction in the US. It´s not 100% design for the US market!

Well, after a while this design is growing on me...:d

Even though the Lancia ladies are more fashionable in terms of "haute couture"...

That Chrysler emblem on the rear should go on the bumper valence, it would be a hindrance in an already hard-to-see out of rear window.

Otherwise, I kind of like the design. It sure beats anything Chrysler has done lately. I cannot judge since I have never seen the car, but if that roof line is anything like my wife's Honda Insight, duck before you enter. It looks like a head-hunter.

No problem with the roofline, all Lanicias have high Rooflines and allow large (co-)drivers. This one also offers extensive space in the rear. The car is just an apetizer, since this is an european Delta-version the car has to be redesigned to US safetety legislation, new bumpers, etc. If used it will look different in the end. The 200bhp DiTurbo engine is a blast on that car!!!

But it looks better as a lancia for sure:
nice vid with the parking aid (never seen that work before)

Not bad at all, still not as good looking as the Pacifica but I'd take it.

Y'all should see what the Federales do to 300's down in Mexico, they look like something outta 'Mad Max', wish I took a few pics when I was down there.

Love those Amex 'Gold Card' outfits!!!
:jump:

Thanks for the outfit-clou. These are very Art Deco. I now see my problem with the Delta being a Chrysler: the main styling themes for chrysler often derive from "Art Deco". Whereas Lancia design uses "modern style" styling elements, which are more fluent and more curved. Even though both styles are historically and concerning forms very close, the mixing is somehow inappropriate. But I guess when things really go into production these issues will be sorted out. BTW: here´s the other way round, a Lancia based on a 300C:
