Hi chaps

For those that are interested in motorsport, cars, etc- I've set up a blog to document my travels.

I'm travelling to Germany tomorrow, as part of a convoy, to visit the Nurburgring- the world famous track and road! We are not going to race- just to experience the track, the journey there, and the history en route.

The url is -> http://www.firebugstudios.co.uk/ring/ . There's nothing there yet.. for it all sets off in an hour or so.

On the way I hope to visit Dunkirk, as well as some of the many evocative memorials.

ooooh Nurburgring! you'll enjoy the carousel :icon_lol: i remember my last visit there, lets just say i needed a new wing mirror :icon_lol:

good for you! :applause:
i hope you have a great trip. sharing the experience is good for us to read about, but also good for you. it will help you sift and sort the memories you are about to make.

Man, I envy you Dan! Ive always wanted to make that trek. I hope it goes awesome for you. Please take lots of pictures and keep notes on your journey. I for one will be monitoring.

Auto Union (AUDI) used to really kick butt in Nurburgring. I think Bugatti did as well. Then came Maseratti and Ferrari, Lago, and some of the rest. Some amazing history and people from around there.

Have fun...
