Nvida 7800 GS question

I can't claim any credit for the clouds Chris...it's a Gavin Cole creation which he sent me.

My thanks to Gavin for making the clouds- they are beautiful. And to you for passing them along. And thanks to you for the driver installation help.

Chris, I dont see you having any problems with vertical lines in the clouds...we have the same card....whats your secret?

from time to time I do see such things. Much more so when ActiveSky or FSMetar is generating heavy weather and depending upon my point of view and proximity to them. Not so much when I create it myself in the CFS2 weather dialogs.

The screenies I posted above seem to be image edge free- guess I got lucky.

Sometime one also sees the clouds edge on. This is caused by any sort of textual overlay such as the tactical display, status messages, HUD or SHIFT+Z readout.
