The Nvidia 182.08 driver has a problem in that there is a conflict between the driver and Spyware Doctor.I have being screwing around for what seems like forever trying to get my monitors to run at anything other than 640x480. The repair shop was stumped, they had never seen this happen. After much searching on the net I discovered I was not alone with this problem and the cure is to uninstall Spyware Doctor. Worked for me. things are back to normal.

Hmmmmmmmm Thats good to know...Very glad to hear you are now back up and going full resolution....:ernae:

Its been a while if I remember correctly...

Spyware Doctor has a problem with many drivers and programs. Seems I heard it was almost like a trojan. I had a similar problem sometime back and the answer was getting rid of Spyware Doctor. Watch out for that one.

Hi all,
I am running those drivers with Spyware Dr without a problem.
I have a GTX280 1gb card.
Which operating system does it have a problem with.I am running Vista Ultimate.Could it just be an XP problem.

Several years ago I had a problem with my vid card and some drivers with a Kensington Track Ball mouse. The problem was well known at Kensington's web site but thare was no fix. Kensington said I 2 choices ....... uninstall the vid drivers or the mouse driver ....... I really did like that trackball..........
Too bad ........ I never bought another trackball. Or anything that kensington makes.

Interesting, I have been having problems with IL2 1946 ever since I upgraded my Nvdeia Driver, I am using Spybot, not Spyware Dr. but I will try removing Spynot tomorrow and see if that helps. I will probably end up rolling back the video anyway, (I refuse to run without some type of spyware app) but it would be nice to know if that was the cause.

Yep guys, one of the worst $30.00 nightmares I ever bought was Spyware Doctor, my expletives aside for the courtesy of those among us who are good Christian people.

If you have it get rid of it. get a Registry Cleaner like CrapCleaner and get the entire POS of of your system.
