nvlddmkm.sys bsod/ctd uneducated possible fix

...and black screen.

I have been working on this issue for almost a week. Including reformatting, reinstalling windows and clean fsx. Prior to crash, I didnt update any video, sound, bios, tool drivers. My fsx.cfg hasnt been altered for almost a year, and suddenly the glitch popped up out of the blue every time any aircraft is loaded on the runway.

Perhaps the most significant update was the vrs superbug and tacpack to version 1.4.2 .8.

I did almost every tip I could find in the internet as well as changing 5 nvidia drivers. but the bsod/black screen/ctd/freeze persisted. Just before I decided to buy a new GPU, I did this nothing-to-lose attempt. I deleted the nvlddmkm.sys file. I think it solved the issue. If things go as expected this could save 300 dollars for a new graphic card. Hope this could be useful for future reference since there are only few discussions concerning fsx related nvlddmkk.sys bsod.

Some think this file is not essential, some say it is in fact dangerous although more official forum statements state this file could affect the performance. Well I dont notice that so far.

Btw, you could always browse the issue and you will find perhaps thousands of similar problems.
