O/T Angels-One-Five

Pat Pattle

SOH-CM-2025
In the Daily Mail today thery're giving away one of the best british war films made (IMO!), Angels One Five :)

The aerial sequences are very old hat but charming in their way but it does have some wonderful ex Portugese Hurricanes and it was filmed at Kenley (called Neethley in the film). I think films such as this that were made not long after the end of the war are excellent as reference and as a glimpse into what life in the RAF was like back then, much more than they can ever portray today with our modern trendy actors.

I shall be sitting down with my feet up and a beer or two watching it this weekend. Happy Valentines day Mrs Pattle :icon_lol:

Good show Pat! I'll have to give the misses a look at it too, IF I can find it. Her Aunt and Uncle lived through it.
