O/T Computer Performance Setting

Using the Black Vipers recommendations to shut down unwanted processes, the performance setting will not stick. Any one else run into this?

I use "Gamebooster" and "Flusifix" helps very much !!! GB here http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html and FF here http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/ btw FF is also in english. Very good stuff to make your FS9 run much better (only MY opinion)
