O/T Letters from an American WW1 Airman

Found this online book I thought someone here might enjoy it.

It details the experiences of Stuart Walcott, an American aviator from July 4, 1917 to December 8, 1918.

I've gotten through the first 40 pages and I'm hooked this is some neat reading.

WOW! Thanks Grumpy, this is the kind of reading I love... actual accounts from the aviators themselves. One of the best things I ever read was a compilation of fighter pilots writings from WWI to present. There was stuff from MvR, and Chuck Yeager. I wish I could remember the title as I lost the book and want to get another copy.

That was an great read, thanks. Interesting to note a few tid-bits from those letters ended up in the movie Fly Boys.
