Hey is it worth it? Looking at a

SAMSUNG 850 Pro Series MZ-7KE256BW 2.5" 256GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Quick peruse of the interwebs and it seems generally to be getting thumbs up. Most Samsung products tend to be pretty spot on imho.

An SSD is the most noticeable boost you will ever get in everyday use. I'm not going back to having my OS on a mechanical drive. It's just soooo fast and responsive!
BTW, there are cheaper but still very good drives if you're on a budget. (Samsung 840 & Crucial Mx100)
The 850 Pro should be the fastest in the market as of now, but it's not dramatically noticeable compared to other solutions.
