• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

OFF 3 Questions

This is from Eno over at SimHQ, he can't register here for some reason.

"I would ask these questions on the OFF forum but I have never been able to register there.

1) Can a squadron only have one type of aircraft at a time?

2) Can you edit historical pilots information? Basically I see a few pilot histories without anything typed up for them like most historical pilots have in OFF3.

3) Is there anyway to get a paint tutorial for OFF linked outside of SimOuthouse? I have tried to register there in the past but have never been able to do so. I have sent e-mails to the admin to register there but never got a response.

4) Can pilots be added to the historical pilots simply by adding them to the \campaign data folder? I am at work right now and don't have the folder path with me but I looked at all the historical pilot data files and just wondered if I could add more pilots to it.

5) Some of the historical pilots do not have kill histories but in looking at the "pilotname"kill file this looks easy enough to fix on my own. Is it as easy as it initially appears to be?

Yeah, I have the game one day and I'd like to modify some historical information.
