I havnt been onboard that long, but in the little time I have, there have been almost no mp games posted in the forum. Now the first (and only) mp game I did manage to join I got hammered bad, which only means I have to get into more, as practice makes perfect.

Maybe its the fear of getting torn to shreds that keeps newer players from trying mp, and dont't blame all you vets for not wanting to fly with pilots that are "sittingducks", but would like to see more games up, and would espcecially like to see games up that are for the purpose of learning.

course gotta admit, I do miss the old rb3d meelees...

did notice that in the eto forum, they have a sticky for posting mp games, and a nice format for it (ie,,,go back and edit post when the game comes down)

And, as long as Im posting,,,,when I got off2, thout for sure I saw a post that indicated the sys req for off3 where pretty much in line with off2, after reading pol's sys req, looks like there is a pretty good chance off3 is gonna be bit too rich for this system, and a new one is definatly not in the budget. Hopefully, there will be a handfull of pilots in the same boat

Duck, a couple of things...

1. Don't worry about the system requirement of Phase3. If you look at the minimum set.. it's actually mine. I have it running very well on my PC, and I'm sure I could get it faster if I could turn-off some of the background stuff I am running. So don't put too much weight to an upgrade. I've been running OFF P3 on my 4 year old PC for months now, with NO crashed... albeit it does drag now and then, but I have the settings a little high.

2. MP games for OFF are run mostly by Pilot's Den and the Boy's of 60. I know EXACTLY what you mean about being a sitting duck. I flew RB3D MMP for almost 2 years and found myself eating dirt more often than not. Can I suggest you set-up a time with PD and see if he or someone else could get some combat training for you? I have to say though, P3's AI is almost life-like, and you'll certainly get your share of scars from it. The AI in P2 is terrible compared to P3.

Phase-3 co-ops

I will be mission building and hosting phase 3 co-ops in a modded and none modded game.

All who are interested will be welcome/ i am sure the modded game will be as popular as it was previously.

Once we have the modded game up and running anyone wishing to join the boy's of 60 squadron [now 100 member's and growing] will be welcome to do so.

I've noticed you and your offers of online gaming before, but never went in for details so far. But I'm getting better slowly, and would like to join in some day, when P3 is there. Perhaps you could make a thread (sticky?) with all the basic information one needs? Or does it exist already, and I've overlooked it?

Thought I would host a game to allow some
to try and test joining and some to just fly around.

Starting SOON at 14:30 EST (19:30 GMT).
Hope to see many there....Outlaw's TS is up....

Please create a new pilot to join with so you don't lose
your 16 1/2 hour pilot......:costumes:

After that just click Multiplay and after WWI World Initialises...
Go to the hangar and set-up your connection type and callsign. (multiplayer options)
Then click Multiplayer....Join game....and enter my IP 66.131.101.207

Join allies side....then you may change A/C and fly what ever you'd like.

hi firestorm ,I tried to join your Airshow flyin and couldn't because there was an aircraft mismatch. My aircraft are the standard A/Cin OFF 2. How do do I get the other A/C so that I can jhoin you?
 
The game was down momentarily to check my A/C list.

The game will be left up for another couple of hours, so
please don't be shy.

I'm parked at Duxford near the last hangar to grab a meal
but i'll be back shortly.
