OFF P2 install problems

I have reseaved the OFF phase 2 instal disk from Typhoon and i'm thanking him for sengding me a coppy, but i have a problem with the install. the first part gows well and the skin install is alsow ok but the VID install dusnt work and alsow the updates V 1.9 and 1.9 final update dusnt work i have alsow extras i think what do i do with those? if i want to start OFF phase 2 i'm getting an error class not registered you need the folowing file to be installed on your machine MSSTDFMT.DLL.​

i have already checked those dint gave me any feedback on the install

the isntaller for the vid file and the updates wont work i have add them to the administrator source but it dusnt help
 
I know you can download the MSSTDFMT.DLL. file from the actual OFF site. But it sounds like you have bigger issues. I hope the install files you received aren't corrupted. I had to get a new disk from a different person because the first one i got was corrupted.

One of the smarter talking heads on the site will be able to set you straight better than I can!

maybe but it would be very sad, typhoon made the offer to sending me a copy if it is corrupt like you say then he did the trouble for nothing :frown:

i waiting for new answers maybe they know why the installers dont work maybe i'm forgetting something
 
It happens! I do hope you get sorted out though cause the game is AWSOME!!!
 
Might be a little informative, if YOU listed your operating system.

OFF was originally written for XP, but it can be installed on VISTA

Phase 3 will be just stick in the DVD, However it's a bit more complicated with Phase 2

If you got your disk from Typhoon, it should be a good set of files because I sent him his (I think). If you look in the "Extras" folder, you'll find "msstdfmt installer". That should solve your problem in that area.
Have you tried turning off your virus protection during the install? Some have issues.

I had the same problem with the missing ddl. There is a step by step video on "you tube" That solved my issue. hopes that helps.
 
"Typhoon's" data weren't corrupted; I installed from them, and it works allright. Just check the forum for all info's about install problems - take the time, it's worth it. Cheers; Olham
 
I will figgure this all out, i have vista keep an eye out maybe i have more questions for some files that i will find to put in the game where i do not know where to put them right away if you knwo what i mean already thanking everyone for the helping hand
