Sorry posting has been quiet - we are burning the midnight, and the 1,2 and the 3am oil too and from both ends ouch.

Just a couple of tasters of the improved older craft.

Hannover CL.IIIa improved.

Wow.....those look absolutely stunning!! Pretty tough not to notice the terrain detail as well. Hmmmm......guess I've got a REALLY good excuse to run out and buy that GTX280 now.....or do we go for the 4870X2........decisions, decisions.....damn you Pol....lol.

Well I just ordered a new PC with a GTX280, but the MoBo is for crossfire so I have a bet each way. From what I have read so far the 4870x2 double cards are have some over heating problems and are tripping the overload protection on some MoBo's but not sure how. And some are over 1Kg, I wonder how much weight you can hang off a slot?

I am hopeing my Core 2 E8600 and the GTX280 can run OFF with all the sliders on 4. If not I have wasted my cash, but that was all I could afford.
The GTX280 has 1 meg DDR3 so that should be good.

Really looking forward to P3 as it was the main reason for the upgrade.

they look indeed good - the tension wires (right word?) of the RE8 look great, i would really like to ... arrgh, not yet, patience is a virtue -

Been some time

Have not posted for a while but I do keep looking and have to say Pol that despite what my Good Book says about envy I am bordering on the envious of all the beta testers!

Marklaur yes it will run it very well. It is similar to what I have and I can run at 1920x1200 16xAniso 16XAA sliders on all 5 sliders (although we still recommend 4,4 for terrain and scenery). You may need to o/c the CPU some to get the best out of it but FPS is goood if you have the right gear AND it looks better :)

Since "Flying Corps" I was longing for a good sim about WW 1. Now, seeing these pics and movies of yours drives me to tears of joy - great job ! Can hardly await the release day. And I have two questions: 1. would it be very difficult to give the player/pilot a choice how he wants the plane to be painted? 2. will it be possible to fly with a friend via LAN in a co-op mode against the AI (most games don't offer that, allthough it's real great fun). Well, thank you for all your energy and enthusiasm; carry on well, and don't burn yourself up!

You can choose a skin if you want to override the assigned squad skin, and of course you can make your own as many have to load up in the sim.

Multiplayer LAN to LAN is already there in P2, and yes you can fly a campaign mission against the AI.

Hmmmm, now you have my curiosity aroused. Soooo......we set up for multi-player, fly a campaign mission (random scenario I assume), and once the mission is complete?? Then what? Basically the question is, are we able to string more than one mission together in sequence? I'm trying to avoid the term "dynamic online campaign" here as it's open to interpretation and would have been extremely difficult if not virtually impossible to achieve.

Any further detail would be a welcome bit of info. No pressure of course....lol.

i have no photo at hand showing it, but the Hannover CLII had some small bombs hanging at the outer right side of the gunner's seat.
