• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

OFF Today, MRI

2 months ago I was pulling weeds in my flower garden and when i stood up POW went my lower back.
My Dr was off on vacation so it took me 6 weeks to get in to see her, then 2 weeks to get into the MRI.
My back is still sore as hell.
Well I am OFF.

no luck asking tech if he seen something, lol:redfire:
I have to wait 2 days ( or Monday)

Had an MRI on my knee several years ago, tech was mum about it then, too. Of course they don't want to give out misinformation, but I believe they know what's going on.

My wife has had back damage and 2 surgeries for a single disk herniation. First surgery for the herniation. Second surgery to remove scar tissue from the first surgery. Thank God for worker's comp, or the cost would have been near $100,000 all told.

The worst of MRIs is the claustrophobia... stuffed in a tube for half an hour. Her second problem didn't show on the MRIs. Only during the surgery did the doctor discover the scar tissue was preventing the nerve move sliding freely as she moved around. It's been 3 months, and she still has numbness and pain from the nerve.
