We'd done alright but I'd got beaten up a bit.. The plane was barely flyable, and then only with full left rudder and full right aileron needed to keep it level.. I hit RRR and HHH and limped for home, the wingmen hovering about. Almost managed it but couldnt make the strip, I'd lost too much height and had to put it down in the neighbouring field .. a landing, gingerly and more controlled than some I've done! and it was OK. Made it.. Engine off, deep breath and I sat there feeling really pleased with myself.. .. :ernae:

and then the guy gets out of the plane and starts to walk in, stops and picks up an apple(?) . He tosses it up, catches it, looks over his shoulder and carries on.. was I dreaming? What a touch..

I love this game.. Phase III .. who cares when.. this will do me for a long time yet..:applause:

i never saw him pick up an apple, but due to my artistic flying capabilities i have seen him performing the strangest of actions:
One is: Raising his arms, smiling, and running out of the picture - happens a bit seldom ...
Another one is: falling on his knees (kissing the ground? not sure), trying to stand up, but failing/creeping away? - a bit more often.
Even one more: running away from plane jumping for cover, plane explodes - by far the scene i was able to watch most of the times ...

Maybe the OFF team can work a bit on those scenes lol

What makes it even funnier is there looks to be no other trees anywhere else around the plane. The pilot musty have had a real good razzing at the canteen later on... LOL!

I can say this with confidence... very close. The hard stuff is over, and now were just nailing down some little issues... the list is very short... then we test the hell out of it.

No dates, but it's closer now then we've ever been. It's an amazing game, you won't be disappointed at all. I was a master of modding RB3D, and played the hell out of it. Phase 3 will make the doubters into believers, and make the believers into fanatics!!!

Hang in there.... very very very soon. ;)

For a good while I was an advocate of the "take your time guys" doctrine in reference to Phase 3 mainly because my computer and my wallet were severely lacking. Now that my computer is no longer lacking (because of that, my wallet still is:costumes:). Now the ball is in your court guys! I'm eagerly anticipating the return volley!:jump:

I did play boat loads of RB 3D, though I am not a modder, so I am really looking forward to the career features of P3. Given my fixation with campaign play, it's one of the reasons why P2 just won't do. The glitches, etc., in that aspect just take the fun out of it for me.
 
I personally like the falling down on hands and knees and puking a few, maybe its just my flight skills that cause this result on landing, but its not unusual (usually happens after a close scrape, and barely landing safely with a shot up aircraft):d. An apple!?, never have I witnessed that one! Excellent!
