Guys, you can’t do this to WF2. She’s been waiting for the D.VIII for years. Why not have both, hopefully, sometime… And while we're at it, can anyone think of any more interesting late-WWI planes, even if they may be a bit what-if?
 
A great little plane, the D VIII - tanks for the video, WomenFly2!

I know, that you wanted it for years, so okay.
But the others - we have just got "Between Heaven and Hell". There are so many planes to ty - I wish, you could all just make that small stepp across the border, and try the other side (no dark side anywhere - honestly!)

I just flew a Sopwith Camel, and I must say: Wow - what a fighter plane!
(I'll report in a new thread later, how an Albatros pilot feels in a Camel).

PS: could that little D VIII carry two guns and 1.000 rounds - would have been a dangerous fighter then, I assume.

I have it and I don't.
My neighbour Uwe got it yesterday, but goes on holidays today, for a whole week!!!
So, he borrowed it to me; I can order mine no earlier than Monday, and even then only, when 2 of my customers pay their LONG OVERDUE bills!!! (My account is some anti-matter, so to say).

But, yes, I will make my first experiences NOW already, and I'm more than greatful for the option. Right after this, I'll write a thread about my first combat. You wouldn't believe, which plane I chose!

Have you ever done multiplayer games? I haven't in P2 or P3.
But I have flown with neighbour Uwe in IL2 Stormovik. The good there was, that we could fly together, in the same Jagdgeschwader. We flew Messerschmidt Bf 109 G 6 late, and only the Russian top aces were a danger for us.
I know, that SittingDuck is organising online multiplayer games, but don't know. how it works. And I admit - I wouldn't want to be the only real German pilot, chased by a whole bunch of S.E.5a's or even Camels.

Perhaps you read my first combat report - I flew a Sopwith Camel. Very good plane!

I vould bee honoured to be your vingmann in a multi-player matchup, mein herr! I also have liddle to nein experience in der multi-player, but am villing to larn! Take zee caution, though, as Ich bin der louzzy pilot! :rollerskater:
 
Okay, "Taffy" and Widowmaker;
perhaps we can do an online-multiplayer soon. Let's all find out about it; but first, I want to fly a bit more in BHaH Campaign. I'm only just in it.

The Dev guys are working on improvements to MP as we speak :)
 
Multiplayer adds a whole new dimension to the game, though IMHO is more FUN co-op.
Competitive multiplayer has a particular intensity :173go1: but,
and once again IMHO, the MP game engine leaves me feeling more frustrated than anything else.

Not to hijack this thread, but recognized the name Uwe in your post from the AnandTech gaming forum which is where I learned of the existence of OFF 3 and ultimately decided to buy it. Small world indeed!
 
wf2 do you think by some chance i would ever forget you and yes i stillhave my special piolt figure for you as well thsi is inthe works form my lil shop or horros wheni get it decnt enough you will be the first to play wiht it
