Been here for around for 12 years now. Used to be known as just "sixstrings" till i updated my account and changed my user name. What fun it has been for all this time to pass by. Hope to be here for many more years,Lord willing. Any other "old timers" ?
 
Over 120 views and no old timers :dizzy:. Been here since the beginning . Many moons ago . Never would have imagined all that's been done to CFS3. Started after MS came out with CFS1. Was a big CFS2 fan here at one time till CFS3 started to grow with addons coming out at a steadily pace. Not as much right now but a lot of work is being done by a very small group of people compared to times past. Some have moved to other things others probably burnt out or just retired from CFS3. Been into Il-2 since the beginning . Currently into Il-2 '46 and like CFS3 there are many mods for it. Even with OBD's new WWII sim coming out i doubt will cover as much as the current addons for CFS3 or Il-2 '46 that is available. Hopeful that a few more Russian aircraft,vehicles and more along with a new theater will come out in the future for CFS3.
 
Although I have been away for about 4 years, I joined up here around the time CFS3 came out. This place has always been full of great people providing the hopeless like myself with great add-ons, tech advice and support. Back in the day there was a fellow who's handle was O-1 Driver who used to host Friday/Saturday night co-op missions on line. Everybody had headsets and a comm program so we could talk during the missions and it was immersive and lots of fun......untill I would come in last for my carrier landing and crash into everyone!:jump:
 
I don't think of myself as an old timer, but I have been here 9 1/4 years now so perhaps that almost counts.
 
The date next to my avatar thingy says June 2005, but so does a lot of folks, there was a new server or something at that time. I think I must have joined around 2003 flying and modding cfs1 & 2. So about 13 years or so.
