Plan on taking the plunge in the new year to MSFS 2020. Hoping Santa upgrades my very old CH Yoke and Throttle quadrant, in the meantime will the new Flt Sim recognize my CH Rudder pedals ?This is one bit of kit I hate to loose !! sounds crazy I know !?@#$Regards

Howdy Air,

Windows should recognize the CH pedals with no problem. By comparison, I run an old Sidewinder from time to time for a few of my other games.

If you dig really deep into the core files, you'll find default config files for quite a few controllers, including many of the older ones. Even if your particular controller doesn't have a default profile, it would probably still be recognized, but just not have any default assignments. It would then be up to you to go into the control assignments and set it up manually.

Of course, that's just my theory...

Should work. I used to use CH Pedals (not pro) that were so old they had a game port instead of USB, and I had to get an adapter for my rig. They still worked great. Now I have the Pro, native USB, also works great. Sometimes the sim fails to recognize it, but all you have to do is Alt-Tab out, load the CH Control Manager, rescan your controllers, then Alt-Tab back into the sim. Takes 10 seconds, always works, and doesn't hang the sim or even interrupt your flight. And I only rarely have to do it, usually when I last used the pedals with some other sim that sort of grabbed control of them.

Or just FSUIPC to map everything out as another means of connecting your equipment. :very_drunk:
