On Line Flying

Guys,

I am going to carve out some time to begin hosting ETO on line again starting in Sept. if there is enough interest. I will be able to host a mission twice a month in the evenings to start out and we can go from there. I can also host at least once a month during morning/afternoon hours which would be early evening for our UK players.

I am thinking we could start out at the beginning of the war flying Gladiators in France and slowly work our way thru the war years flying most of the ETO aircraft in the process. We will eventually end up with D-Day and the final assault on Berlin. This should keep us occupied for awhile.:icon_lol:

We will be using the private internal Solomons Forum to coordinate our missions and to let you know when on occasion we will be using one of the new ETO aircraft in the game. Mods will be kept to a minimum but our MP group will be an excellent test for any new aircraft before they are released.

If you are an on line veteran looking to get back in to the game or a newbie you will be welcome.

I will also be setting up some dogfights that will run at different times that some of you may want to participate in.

Please sign up here to join us and to discuss dates and times.

This invitation is for on line flyers only and is not intended to be another discussion forum, we have SOH for general discussion.. My time will be limited the next couple of months but I am looking forward to flying on line with you guys again.

Best Regards

Steve

First session will be this coming wednesday evening 9/02. Two semi-historical missions to fly:

1. Late June 1940, Southern France and Italy has entered the war. We are assigned to a Swordfish squadron with Gladiator escorts flying against Italian targets and shipping along the coast of Italy. You can expect Italian Bi-Plane fighters and some Italian seaplanes in the area.
2. Late June 1940 and we are flying Gladiators intercepting Italian fighter bombers hitting our airfields in Southern France.

Please check the MP forum for additional details on for Team Speak and start time information.

Thanks

Steve

We need a couple more European players (UK, Netherlands, etc) to fly together. The latency normally is not that bad for the UK guys who have cable who have flown with us in the past. Rob has the worse latency joing from Australia.

Thanks
