One More Quickie

While addressing some concerns with the Twitchell Scenery, I discovered a ground texture from a long time ago that I never did anything with. . .no idea why. Anyway, I decided to knock out a "quickie" and add it to my list of Maine Airports. Anyone know it's name?

Thanks guys. . .this truly was a quickie. . .although there are still tweaks I'd like to do, the basic scenery as it's shown in that pic took less than an hour. One reason I enjoy doing small private strips. No massive parking ramps, no huge runway and taxiway systems, no control towers or hangars too numerous to count and so on. Small strips have character and they're fun to fly to especially if they require some skill to get into.

I love the whole trio of new Maine airfields - Miller's Field, Twichell and now Mary Talbot. Visiting all three is a nice way to spend a summer afternoon, just be sure to end up at Miller's for beer & BBQ

Yep, for sure! A new one on the board is Gadabout Gaddis - ME08. . .just getting started on that one though.

o.k. Ed, your not going to believe this. About 18 years ago I was Project Engineer on a project in Madison, Maine. I would rent a c172 from Norridgewock field and fly around the area and a couple times I landed at Gadabout and had lunch. You don't want to overshoot the R/W heading north!
