One of those dumb rookie questions ?

I like to start with engine running at end of runway ready for take off. No particular reason just my preference. Currently my flight start in the air. Now comes the stupid rookie question ? How do I change the FSX setting to accomplish what I'm looking for ?

Just load an airport location. Once sitting on the runway save the flight and check the checkox "make default flight" or something similar.

If this is for free flight, the only area that a flight starts in the air is at Friday Harbor. (for me)

Me too.. Friday harbour is always in the air...just change your airport location from your opening screen and you should start on that runway. :)

What an easy fix. Thank you very much. You know as I get older it seems to get more and more difficult to remember the little things I forgot.
