Saab MFI series(-9 / -15 /-17 /T-17 Supporter / TS [Turbo]) also known as Saab Safari.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Gustav_von_Rosen Carls Gustav von Rosen was leading group of Swedish MFI-9B aircrafts to war in Africa and founder of Ethiopian Air Force.

He was Eric von Rosen's son. (Eric von Rosen is founder of Finnish Air Force) Carl bought by himself planes for FiaF.

Thanks!

I have to second that! This is an excellent little design and I have an account of the raids where Carl Gustav von Rosen led attacks on the Nigerian AF using these planes destroying Mig-17's and IL-28's on the ground. Very daring, very brave man.

Maybe Piglet would be up for the job of building one at some point or already has one in than "to build hangar" .

That is Tim's department. He specializes in Trainers.

I think his newest plane is a SAAB also.

(I dont think its a Volvo.. um... no.. )

:d

Isn't there already a Saab MFI for FS9?
For a nutty idea, try the Yak Ya-36 Freehand. Now that's a nutty plane!

Tim, there sure is a freeware FS9 version, it is a dated model though. To see one built by you for FSX would be awesome especially considering the J-21 you're working on.

Yeah...Tim...

...the model that is out has been out for a number of years and is NOWHERE near the quality of your releases. Plus there is a more powerful variant of the MFI-17 (Saab Supporter) called the "Super Mushak" built in Pakistan.

The MFI-15/17 family is cool, and I have saved TONS of very detailed close-up pics of it that I went out found online (I've always wanted to build, but have never had the time...so I tend to collect documentation out the you-know-what). PM me if you think you might be interested.

"Release date: 2004"

Well...no. :kilroy:

Quite. I don't mind using freeware port overs, but I'll never pay for an FS9 model to use in FSX - unless it's something really special.

A 105 would indeed be nice... and others from the SAAB stable, like the Lansen, which I don't think has ever been produced for FS!
