well, i guess i screwed up my ETO install somewhere. All i have is the attack in the west missions, ive tried each of the 5 era swappers to no avail. i installed ETO with a 'vanilla' copy of cfs3 updated to 3.1a in the stock location. i zapped the bdp's, and then went thru manually and deleted one more bdp file the zapper missed. anybody else had this? what did i do wrong? please help:isadizzy:

I had that running it with Vista. Try it with the 'user account control' turned off. Good luck!

I've got Vista 64 with UAC off and I still only get Attack in the West. Any ideas?:kilroy:

Did you edit the batch files MASTERETOSTARTUP.bat and ETOGLSwapper.bat as per the instructions?

All 64-bit versions of Windows install CFS3 to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 3.0 by default.

However, the ETO installer is hard-coded to install ETO to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO Expansion by default. I'd advise changing the install path to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO Expansion when installing.

Since you're getting ETO to run after a fashion, you haven't mangled the entire install - but you have almost certainly corrupted your Era files. Check the documentation for instructions on how to run the CFS3 ETO Expansion ORIFs Re-Install program to re-install the Original Release Install Files (ORIFs).

When you've done that you must edit the batch files to reflect the correct path to ETO. Do it before running ETO at all.

All users of 64-bit Windows versions have to do this.
