I'm running the OpenSky 747SP on FS9; model is the OS747SPV4A_SOFIA observatory bird. All panel switches, aircraft animations, etc function as advertised. Following a normal engine start, takeoff and climbout at about the 50 minute - one hour mark the sim quits abruptly with a CTD. This has happened twice this evening. I am running GameBooster v.3.0 on my machine. This situation occurs whether GB is running or not. Only other thing running in the background is Avast virus protection for the machine. I can not figure out what may be causing this as GB shuts off all ancillary functions in the machine, which in theory should keep this from happening. Is there something corrupted in the aircraft model or a conflict with some basic FS9 function?

Does anyone know how to contact anyone associated with Project Opensky? I know they had a split some time ago, I need an authoritative voice on their models to determine why their 747SP keeps shutting my FS9 down.

When Hiroshi left Project Opensky, he went to Facebook and formed three different groups - don't ask me why three... The first two are SkySpirit2010 and SkySpirit2011. The third is a "Watercooler" group, apparently for off-topic chat. Here's the address for the first group:

I should also tell you that I've heard that they no longer offer support for the "legacy" Posky files.

Very good, and thanks. Will connect and see if they're willing to talk.

I should mention in the interest of clarity the 747SP giving me the problems is a one-of-a-kind 747SP going under the moniker SOFIA - Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy.

Just now - for fun, opened the "model" folder in the aircraft file - discovered the model reads as "OS747SPV4_SOFIA." There is a Luxair bird in the same folder, however, it does not have the "camel hump" sliding observatory modification the SOFIA has. Changed the original model folder to "model.sofia." Imported the standard model from the regular 747SP folder and installed that. Then made the relevant change to the aircraft config file. Will see if this changes anything.

I've also downloaded and installed the latest version of FSUIPC (3.999). Will see if that changes anything as well. If problem clears up, no need to contact anyone. If not, will have to use contact you provided or somehow find someone else who has experienced a similar problem.
