openVFR terrain updated

I found a news item this morning which said that openVFR had updated their FSX terrain to version 2. It has also become payware, and while individual countries are certainly a reasonable price, it would cost quite a bit to get coverage for, say, the whole of Europe.

Their homepage is here - http://openvfr.freyt.de/magento/

I've not heard of this product before, so was wondering if anyone here had used it or still does use it. If so, what's it like ? Indeed, what is it exactly ? Their website talks about it in general terms but doesn't actually say whether it's landclass, terrain textures or some sort of combination,
regards,
Ro

By the looks of the screenshots it looks like landclass with default textures and vector data for roads, rivers, streams, shorelines etc. If that is so it is probably more or less what UTX is already offering. I guess a comparison between the two could be useful.
