Operation Exporter

I am sure that it is a very nice campaign, especially when I get it to operate, but the "old ignorant" need some help.

The aircrafts Blenheim Mk4-1, KM_JU88_A-11, and the FR_Potez633 need to be installed as non-flyable aircrafts i.e AI models. Now, how can I change this a.c.'s to AI models? I have realiced that changing the name in the CFG file is not solwing the problem, I think the model and air files must be changed in a way, but how is this done??

Killer,

This is skylane's project, so I am going to let him take the lead on this one.

Killer Svend,
You don´t have to change any files, I did that. Just look in the "Aircraft" folder in the download package: There are folders for the various aircraft that already contain the modified files. You only have to add the other files and Folders from the original aircraft, and you are done.

For example: In the "FR_Potez633 AI" Folder there is an Aircraft config and an Air file. You have to copy from the FR_Potez633 aircraft that you downloaded all the folders and files, EXCEPT the Aircraft and airfile into the FR_Potez633 AI aircraft folder. Then put this Folder to your CFS2 - Aircraft Folder. The same with the other two aircraft. Look what files are there and copy paste the other ones from the original.

These three aircraft, when used as AI or wingmen, didn´t do what I wanted them to, therefore I had to devise this workaround.

I hope this answers your question. If you Need any further help, just let me know!

Yup the old saying still applies.

"If all else fails, read the directions"

We all do it.

The worst is when you do read it but manage to skip over a part because you think you know it already. Come to find out that was the bit you realy needed.

They say there is no such thing as a stupid question except when the answer is in your face. I say its not the question that is but how you feel when you find out. I think the new word for it is "DURP". Kind of like one of those "Duh" moments we all get. I notice I get them more often now. Mostly because my kids like to remind me of it.

So don't feel bad. Your not alone.

Till Later,
John
