Operation Ironclad and Latecoere 523

Hallo,

searching the Latecoere 523 (Late523v402.exe) by JM Mermaz for use in the operation ironclad campaign.
The link in the install_readme is dead.
Could someone help?

Great, but with flaws

Hi friends. Just popped by and noticed this thread. Achim, It's great that you give this plane, but really I think it should be uploaded for preservation on this great site. Also I note, that the plane lacks any sound files, meaning that it will not show up. I thus suggest, that you put in an "alias" file in the sound folder, and then upload it so that everybody can have pleasure of the campaign in the future. And if not here, then it could be at LWDESIGN, but personally I would prefer on both sites to make sure that this plane may be available in the future - if not for ever, then at least for as long as we can enjoy the wonderful CFS-2. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing and not least for your wonderfull airports and sceneries

Hi,

I never unzipped this one. After doing so and some checking there is more work to be done to make ready to fly then just inserting a sound alias. It doesn't has a dp-file and the gauges in the panelcfg are somewhat odd - at least I don' t have all of them available. From the notes I see it was made in 2001 - a long time ago and it is most likely a FS 2000 model.

I will see what I can do. But that has to wait a couple of days because I will be out of town for the weekend.

Good news. I had the plane in my library, but without the dp file. I see that this one has both the dp file and the wake effects in the folder. Good effort!
