• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

if i remember correctly,this happened to me when i installed it into FSX awhile back,but i cant remember what people told me i needed to do..id sure like some help so i can go on installing my orbix stuff..thanks ahead of time.
 
That is because your FTX global is probably an older version. Install it, then install the latest libraries for Prepar3D v2.5 and run the FTX config tool version 2.0.

After that, all should be fine!

i assumed it was the latest version,i thought they always updated the version .sighs.

If you install the latest P3D v2.5 native libraries, you'll be able to update the thing from the FTX config tool v2

thanks..and yuppers that worked..so ive been installing..one of our fellow P3D's is coming on Saturday to help (build) me in building a controller station that will work from my chair..might work..might not...i dont want to give his name just yet because i dont know if he wants it known ...he may not want other nutters askin..lol...and yes...im the nutter thank you very much!!
he and his wife are coming..and im going to have some chicken breasts smoking,my mom is going to do a fish fry and is making a salad...should be a good day!!...im lookin forward to it.:jump:

I really hope you get everything sorted out. I have no idea on how bad your discapacity is, but it sounds like its not easy to be you. I know how much "games" like flightsimulators and forums means for people with discapacity or lonelyness.
I´m getting very curious about your setup when its working. I really like that you ask for help. Thats very good and I wish more persons in your situation would do the same.

I had a discapacitated friend years ago, and I believe its important that the life of discapacitated person are recorded and shown and being part of the rest of the world. People have a lot of fear (understandable) of what they dont know.
In the end of the day we are just persons with a body, a soul and a mind and we share most feelings never mind our political, economical, filosofical, physical etc. situation.
