Orbx HD Trees

Twice43

SOH-CM-2025
Recent release - anyone tried it?
Thoughts?
Can't have Bijan or AccuSeasons installed at the same time, otherwise you get blocky trees etc.

Damn, that rules it out for me. I've got AccuSeason installed. I'd love to see pics of those HD Trees though!

It looks great, but I already have Accuseason Extreme and I've been very happy with that. Also, with MSFS 2024 coming in less than four months...
That's how I tend to see it - Perhaps Orbx thought folk who, for whatever reason, won't transition to MSFS 2024, might be customers.

Interested to hear what folks think about the likely take-up on 2024. Given that 4 years will have passed since we all shelled out for the current sim most peoples SIM budgets should have recovered? Additionally, I would have thought that most of the 'serial simmers' on here will upgrade immediately or at least after people check the first release is clear of serious bugs. I'd be guessing that there would be a c 80% uptake from existing players?

Interesting that during the Blackbird update the other day Crazy Colin expressed his doubts on those Developers that have already committed to transition their 2020 products to 2024 free of charge. He said at this point they/we do not know what (if any) changes will be needed to make to their 2020 products fully functional in the new sim. He stated that they will charge a fee if material re-work is required. So the contention from Microsoft that most products will transition ok needs to be considered with some care. Again how this will impact take-up of the new sim is at question.
