If you've got it pre-ordered, you can access the download link in your order history! :jump::jump::jump:

OK it's not an orbx scenery. I wanted to fly around a tropical paradise for my first flight...

For 35 bucks, this is an absolute steal!

When you get it installed, let us know how it flies(screens too!). I have to admit I am curious. I have flown the IV(not IVP) a few times back in the late 90's that was owned by a local. It's a fast machine for sure and a bit touchy as I recall.

What a craaaaaaazy plane. She's lightning quick and handles better than a jet fighter. I will be tacking on MAAAAAAAAANY hours with this one! :jump:

EDIT: Screenies added to first post.

It looks sorta cute (To my own wacked mind).
It certainly has an aura of speed about it. :jump:
Kiwikat - How does she go on frames - can you compare it to the AS Bush Hawk (Which I understand you removed due to bad frames) which sort of pushes my system to the max.

The manual references fighter like handling - in a GA aircraft (admitedly not ordinary GA) - Coooooool!

I can't really compare it to the bush hawk. I was getting mid 30's in the HD VC above FlyTampa St Maarten. I'm about to try her out over "normal" UTX + GEX scenery right now.

At low altitudes over "normal" scenery I'm getting low to mid 40's in the HD VC and pinned at 60 (VSYNC) exterior. At higher altitudes its actually a fair bit better at around 50 or so. Overall, great performance for what you get.

The textures, modelling, flight modelling, and sounds are absolutely phenomenal. The GNS430's seem to be pretty decent simulations too (though they aren't quite RXP). This N4LK variant is the most impressive paint I've seen in FSX, bar none.

Added other FPS info above...

I'm running a Q9550 E0 overclocked to 3.6 GHz, 8 GB 1066MHz DDR2 ram, GTX280 1 GB stock, and FSX is running on a WD Caviar Black 640 GB hard drive.

Most of my settings are quite high with the exception of traffic. All the traffic sliders are 0'ed except ships and ferries. I've got UTX, GEX, terrain mesh, and REX2 installed as well. I'm using several of the "Jesus" tweaks as well as the Nvidia Inspector profile that Ryan Maziarz of PMDG has been working on.

There's a reason they are so quick....

That's what a real one looks like under the cowl. Twin intercooled turbocarged Lycoming... About 300 hp in a perfectly smooth composite airframe....

Can you tell me the fps vs default c172 vc? That way I can guess what sort of ratio I'll get.

Honestly I have no idea where they are getting that figure from. This thing performs nothing like the default planes. It is on par (FPS-wise) with the Carenado Caravan or Milviz 310 for me, perhaps a bit better than the Realair Duke. I tested the HD versions though. I'm not sure how much different the SD ones would perform for me.

I'd do more tests now but I gotta get to work... :frown:

Looking at the store , i can see only a pre-pay option for dvd, not for download.
Where can i get a link for pre-order the download version?

Thanks I do appreciate it. I admit I was a bit skeptical, and obviously systems vary (surprise lol), that's good to hear though. I was hoping for excellent performance but these days it's tough to find a extremely well modeled airplane ala Lotus L39 :salute:

I've done my pseudo Petraeus List update a few months back, and you can see my results in this image:

You can't - the prepay time is over... we now have to wait for the mere mortal download version :173go1:

I'll take your hug and I'll raise you a awkward new age handshake ;)

Won't be long anymore watch for the release announcement soon :)
