OT: Cycling; Tour of California (for Dominique)

I needed a little fresh air today, thank Caz :trophy:. I know the place, lived there for awhile in the 90's ... This aint the Tourmalet but there are some nice climbs here and there, north and south of the city.

BTW Bonnie Doon is a very nice strip to fly from/to in the Bay Area.

The feed is a little slow so back to reading

On our early morning sports news in oz they talked about a news media journalist at an interview that called Armstong "a cancer of the sport". I don't know how much lower some of these jouno's can go. It was an incredibly dumb and stupid thing to say. I think it is associated with this latest Californian event.

Sounds like sour grapes to me, maybe he's sore that Lance will be back in the TdF this year and Robbie McEwen's chances will be slim and none.

kind words Caz, I find these comments nauseating. I'm personally NOT looking forward to see the Lance Amstrong machine in the next TdF but he is one of the great name of this sport and deserves admiration for what he has achieved.
