I had a great day out watching Lincoln Aviation Heritage Centre's Lancaster "Just Jane" taxiing around the airfield. They also have a great museum too. www.lincsaviation.co.uk

Thanks for sharing those Jeff, looks to have been a grand day out. I wish we had something like that in the south west!
I liked the in-cockpit video, shows how cramped it was.

Re: the cramped cockpit:

Unsung heroes flying only 'Single Pilot', albeit with some help, at night in European weather to hell and back, then repeating the process if they were lucky.

And with the 60% crew loss rate, (that would have been Classified to them); the grim probability was most crew were asked to keep flying until they died.

And to keep on doing that.....what a debt we owe....:medals:
